New Journeys: Hampton Ivy, YouTube Channel

Hi all!

It has been a very long time since I last posted on this blog.

Ever since I went to university, I've had a hard time keeping up with reviews and other posts.

This year however, I started a new journey with my family; Hampton Ivy.

Hampton Ivy was created, by myself and my family, to represent a positive preppy, classic lifestyle. My time now, as a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology, has given me an incredible opportunity to develop this brand and company. Through helpful tips, inspiration, and information about fashion, style, and more, it is our mission to give our readers an enjoyable experience to walk away with. In the future, as this company grows, we will be bringing our own merchandise into the fashion world.

There are so many wonderful things to come in the future for Hampton Ivy.

I am still beauty addicted though. So my love for cosmetics and fashion will now be voiced through a YouTube channel!

Right now there are no videos, but I'm working on them along with everything else. I want them to be as good as they can be.

Updated Skincare Routine : Coconut Oil

Skincare...
Everyone has a different routine, and a lot of the time they involve several products.
Last time I posted about my skincare routine, it involved seven different products.

Now? I only use two.

The product that has replaced all the others?
Coconut oil.

Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balms - Review & Lip Swatches

Let me start off with saying... I want more.
 

Drugstore lip products can be a hit or miss.

In particular, matte lip products at the drugstore are almost always misses; they tend to be drying and make the lips appear undesirable.

So when Revlon came out with their Matte Balms- a matte lip product that is also moisturizing- I was excited to try it.

Updated Skin Care Routine & Products

I used to love buying foundations and bb creams; the dewy finishes were my favorite..

Now? I hardly give them a second look when browsing the makeup isles.

Having healthy, naturally glowing skin means basically everything to me.

I want to be able to go out without any makeup, and feel radiant and beautiful in my bare skin-

and I can.

How?

Taking care of it.

Drugstore Haul - Makeup, Nail Polish, Perfume..

It's always hard to refuse new products in the drugstore.

I can manage to limit myself, but that's as much as I can do.

Slowly but surely, the new products make their way into my collection.

If you wear glasses, like myself (when my contacts aren't in), you know that the prices can be exorbitant when purchasing a new pair. Those of us that can't or won't shell out typically $250 or more on glasses, know that we're often stuck with limited options and not the best looking options as well.

Mini Haul & Review : Natural SkinCare

If it's dangerous to put in my mouth, why would I want it absorbed into my skin?

Just a thought.

 

I've been slowly switching out my old skincare products to more natural products.

While out in a local village I picked up a few natural products and then some more later at Target.

The first flowers that bloomed this season all happened to be yellow..

The flowers and the sunshine both sparked some inspiration in me.

More and more flowers are blooming, but the trees here still have not grown their leaves.

The beautiful flowers are enough for now, and definitely provide inspiration for spring outfits and beauty.

Lately, I've been searching my nail polish collection to find any pretty pastel shade I could..

Turns out I need to go shopping for some more.

A week ago while I was out, I picked up one pastel shade that was too pretty to pass up.
