Layering and keeping nice and warm is half the reason why.

Winter is the time of the year that I consider the "cozy season".

It gets nippy outside, and that's where my winter favorites come in!

NYX Matte Lipstick Swatches & Review

I cannot hide it, I've become lip product crazy this month..

Maybe not crazy, but more than half of what I've bought recently are lip products.

One lip product in particular that has gotten my attention is the NYX Matte Lipstick.

I hardly ever see NYX when I go out shopping, so my recent Ulta haul was the first time I got my hands on more NYX products.

I had tried out two NYX Matte Lipsticks from Ulta about a week before my last purchase and I really, really like them!

So, of course, I had to buy more.

I placed an order on Ulta on Thursday when they offered 20% total purchases.

No surprise, I was sucked into the offer, since I planned on going shopping soon anyway.

I bought some hyped about products and other products that have received great reviews as well.

Cozy Smokey Eye Makeup - Steps and Products

With chilly weather comes out cozy clothing.

Whether you're inside guzzling down some hot chocolate, or stuck in a chair attached to a desk at school,

a cozy outfit is always the best way to go during these cold seasons.

A great compliment to a cozy outfit, is a smokey eye.

I'm not one to go crazy with the smokey eyes, I keep them more toned down.

The lead role in this look was taken by Maybelline New York Stylish Smokes eyeshadow quad.

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter vs Maybelline Color Sensational Color Whisper : Sugar Plum & Made-It Mauve

There has been a lot of hype around the Revlon Lip Butters this year.

Youtube gurus rave about them, and they can be found in many "Best Beauty Products of 2012" lists.

Other drugstore brands have and are introducing new products to top the Lip Butters.

One brand in particular, Maybelline.

Maybelline has recently introduced their Color Sensational Color Whisper lipstick.

My Ipsy Glam Bag! Monthly Beauty Subscription

It's finally here!

I actually received my Ipsy Glam bag on the 15th of this month, but my post about it is finally here!

I've been testing out the products to see how I feel about them.

First, Ipsy is a beauty "community" which is 100% free to join, but the Glam Bag is a $10 a month, or $110 a year subscription.

The bag is filled with four to five beauty products, some sample size and some full size.

For a while now, I've needed new brushes. 

I've been looking for good foundation brushes and eye brushes. While searching and comparing, two brush sets stuck out in particular to me and I went ahead and bought them over at the Ulta near me.

Along with my New Year resolution to start working out again, which I've been slacking on, I'm also looking to be a better version of myself.

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, SPF 15 with Dermaxyl Complex Review

A good way to get me to buy something is when the word SALE is involved.

So of course when I opened my email from Sephora and saw "SALE ON SALE" I had no other choice but to check it out.

I ended up buying a 0.4oz size of Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, originally $17, on sale for $10, and then after the additional 20% off sale, $8.

That's about 53% off.. So I bought it.

Two Product Reviews: Eyebrow & Cheek: Revlon & NYC

Everyone knows that no makeup look is complete without the brows! Perfectly trimmed and shaped.

To achieve that perfect look, I prefer a pencil.

My eyebrows have some patches, particularly my left brow which never wants to work with me..

So to make it work, and of course the other as well, I've been using Revlon Brow Fantasy.

New Years Resolution

Right now I am sitting on my yoga mat on my floor eating a bowl of ice cream..
Why? I just worked out.

That is my New Years resolution.

Not to sit on my floor and eat ice cream.. but to work out.

During the end of 2011 and beginning of 2012, I used to work out every day. I dropped from a size 4 pants to a size 1. Everything goes to the thighs and booty!

Prestige Skin Loving Minerals Review - Drugstore Highlighter!

As you might have seen in my last blog post, I tried out a blush, bronzer, and highlighter trio that was a complete bust.

After returning that, I went to Bed Bath & Beyond with my brother. While he was choosing bedding, I wandered off to the makeup section.

I had researched what some good highlighters at the drugstore were before hand and came across one product by Prestige.

Happy New Years! Day of Shopping, Fashion Haul!

Happy New Years!!!

A whole new year, new opportunities, new experiences! New Year resolutions!

My resolution.. Start working out again!

Today, I did not work out, but I went shopping to spend my gift cards I received for Christmas, and now I'm watching Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve with a mug of Ghirardelli peppermint hot cocoa! :)

I visited my favorite store, Annie Sez. They sell discounted designer items, and then they usually have sales which make the prices go down even more! Everything they sell is on trend and, for the most part, gorgeous. I never go home unhappy!
